Alfstad & Contemporary
Monday morning I helped pack up a glass exhibition at Alfstad and Contemporary. It was my first time being hands on and behind the scenes in a gallery. They had a printshop in the back which I found really cool. Laura Donefer, the artist, and her husband were there and we all sat around chatting and wrapping glass feet together. It was surprisingly informal and relaxed. When I think exhibition my mind goes to New York big name artists where there's probably a ton of protocol into how work is handled but I've never thought of other artists so the experience was very insightful.
